Spent the morning at Raven Street Reserve. What a peaceful place. Bird list:

The Lorikeet was either starting a nest in an ant nest or taking something from it. Also saw Eastern Yellow Robin, Grey Butcherbird, Laughing Kookaburra, Australian Magpie, Noisy Friarbird and a new one for me, the very secretive
Rufous-tailed Native-Hen
Yesterday, at Southbank, Brisbane, I was fortunate enough to see a
Striated Heron
in the mangroves by the river. We took some lovely video and still shots.
